Since my medical studies I decided to specialize in Psychiatry at the “Parc de Salut Mar de Barcelona”; This city has been at the forefront of medical research, clinical care and personal growth.

I carried out stays at the Sant Joan de Deu Children's Hospital in Barcelona, the Sant Pau Family Therapy school at the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona and the Institute of Severe Personality Disorders at the Presbyterian Hospital in New York under the supervision of Dr. Otto Kernberg.

I continued my training as a psychotherapist with a master's degree in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the Ramón Llull University of Barcelona, focused on an integrative approach that includes focal and brief psychotherapy and other forms of therapy.

I have continued to focus on the work of trauma reprocessing through an integration of the most current methodologies and approaches of psychotherapy oriented to psychological trauma that includes the knowledge of Neuroscience applied to the healing of trauma (mainly Interpersonal Neurobiology, Theory Polyvagal and Epigenetics), the Theory of the Internal System of Parts and Mindfulness or self-observation in Full Consciousness.

Professional experience

I have worked as a child psychiatrist at the Fundació Orienta in Barcelona and as an adult psychiatrist at the Mental Health Center of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. In Menorca I have private practice in my office in Mahón.
